If Hopkins beats Adamek this year, will he be your p4p#1?

This is a good pole though however, after all the shitty ones we've been having. I'm going to say pac will be if he beats Hatton, this is if JMM hasn't fought again by then. If JMM was to then go and beat his next opponent, he will be 1, b-hop, until he fights another great, won't be no.1 p4p for a while, until he does its a straight battle until pac and jmm fight! As for Hatton, as mentioned many times before p4p is not linear, its not like a belt, beating no.1 does not make you no.1, please stop saying hatton will be no.1 everyone!

No, if Pacman beats Hatton, he's still #1. But i would put him #2.

If Pacman beats Hatton and Bhops beats Adamek . . . it's still Pacquiao at #1 and Bhops goes up to #2.

    1. Pac
    2. Bhops
    3. JMM

If Pacquiao loses to Hatton and Bhops wins against Adamek then Bhops has an arguement to be there at #1.

    1. Bhops
    2. JMM
    3. Hatton
    4. Pacquiao

    . . . that's my idea.

Finally a sensible post amongst all the crap.

Yes, if he wins it will be add to his legacy, and do no harm to his ATG credentials. But is he the best boxer in the world? C'mon. Be sensible. He is yet to prove himself to be the best in own weight class, let alone P4p the best in the world. The fights he lost were all close, but he lost them all the same. 3 defeats out of his last six fights.

I doubt even Bernard, who is his own greatest fan, reckons he's the best in the world at 44 years old.

This is probably the right call, but I do see the argument for Hopkins being number 1 if he beats Adamek. :good

He will be p4p number 1 for sure. But if Pac beats Hatton than he'd have to settle for 2.

i don't think its close really. in the event that PAc beats Hatton and Hopkins beats Adamek, I think deciding whose better between JMM and Hopkins would be a tougher call to make. However i think JMM would get the edge..
