But you said he was ducking Carlos....HBO and Showtime have both turned down the fight....Williams is fighting a much better fighter in Winky Wright and is looking for much better fighters than Carlos...I dont think he's ducking Carlos by any means...Paul embarassed Carlos in the rematch and TO DESERVE A RUBBERMATCH U NEEDA DO MORE THAN GO HALFWAY THROUGH THE 1ST ROUND.....:rofl:rofl

Soild skills, extraordinary stamina, good chin and championship heart.....he's a top fighter with or without the physical advantages...with them he's damn near impossible to beat on his best day.

Quintana??? Ducking???? AHAHAHA Carlos don't want it. He got soundly beat in a round for the rematch which said it all.

Now you're echoing Bigreg....I said he had a compelling point...I didn't say he was right.
So, who is Williams fighting that will bring him a bigger purse?

I am 100% sure what happened in their 2nd fight won't happen again. But ducking him?? No!! Winky Wright, even after the inactivity, is more dangerous than Quintana. If Winky shows up in shape after all this time Williams could get a big surprise!

That china chin if Quintana will just get decked again, you say Quintana got overconfident, but I watched the second fight and Quintana looked the same as he did in the first except he got knocked out.

Winky Wright. If he wins that fight, he'll be in line to fight the winner of Kirkland vs. Dzinziruk, or Kelly Pavlik or possibly even Shane Mosley. All of those a bigger, more important, higher earning fights than a 3rd fight with Quintana.

I didn't say he was showboating....he got overconfident and didn't keep a tight guard...he said it himself.

If they fight again Quintana will look just like he did in the first fight.

In the first fight, Willliams came right at Quintana throwing haphazzard punches. Los was able move around, and create angles. This had the effect of nullifying much of Williams' offense and allowed Quintana to counter him at will. In the second fight, Williams was nowhere near as aggressive. He picked his shots more carefully, and backed off when he was countered. This forced Quintana to come at him more which is how he got caught. There's no way Quintana will look like he did in the first fight unless Williams fights like he did in that first fight. Williams hasn't faught like that since that fight.
