On Esb main page at 147lbs.

    Berto vs Urango. Who wins?

I think Berto UD on hand speed alone.

Would be a good fight though if it ever goes ahead.

Berto by UD. He would be too much for a crude and limited guy like Urango.:deal

Its Berto's fight to win, but I think that Urango has the power to put Berto on his ass if he gets too cocky or lets his bad habits come out.

And if a guy like Urango gets a clean shot in, then i'm sure that he can knock Berto out.

I pickup Urango by KO/TKO, only because Berto's chin is questionable and his defense isn't the best, especially when being pressured. Plus, Urango bangs. But, realistically, Berto will probably get the UD.

Berto's chin is very questionable. Collazo had him in trouble and so did others before him. Once Urango lands a couple of good left hooks on him, it will be over.

This fight is similar to Kirkland Vs Julio. Berto being the faster combination fighter like Kirkland and Urango being the Columbian bomber who has tried to box in his recent fights. If Berto pressures Urango so that Urango cant load on his shots and outworks Urango he will have an easy night.

Berto's connect advantage will be ridiculous. Stoppage by accumulation (corner-, physician- or ref-initiated.)

Is going up to 147 a good idea for Urango ? could he hang?

Judging from the Ngoudjo fight. I was incredibly impressed. Ngoudjo is a very underrated fighter with no power and has never been down. He's faced many people who can really put a dent in people and didn't seem phased. The first clean hook he gets from Urango and it was lights out.

I think Urango has an underrated form of pressure and recieves much criticism because he doesn't have a jab in his arsenal, but believe me when I say that someone as big as Urango (for a 140lb-er) will most likely be a whole new beast @ 147. Berto's abilities are being overrated here because he has speed. He doesn't know how to use that speed. Freaks out when being pressured. And gases out pretty badly towards the 6th. Urango will break him down and take him out in the late rounds...my guess...I'd say in the 10th.

Very stupid move on Berto's camp. :verysad

Points or stoppage I'm picking Urango but more on points . . . it's more likely that Berto will not stand and trade.

Urango is more fluid and tested at this point.
