Was just wondering, after reading a lot of posts regarding the AA Simon fight, anyone here who watched the fight think Simon can beat any of the three or maybe beat them all? Comments appreciated

Yeah I was coming up with the same conclusion, obviously mora will try to use the same tactic against pavlik, any chance this will go 12?

yep i think it has the chance to.

kelly needs to jump on mora from the opening bell, walk through him, do anything and everything, look ugly and uncordinated if he has to , but get to mora quick and early.

if he stands off , trys to box with mora and lets mora get a couple of rounds under his belt , mora will get confident and maybe take a bit of heart and hang tough and try to fiddle his way to the final bell and lose on points.

kelly has to forget looking good in this fight and go on a seek and destroy mission.

not a chance mora wins no matter what happens, just that he might make it a poor spectacle and i expect mora to fight very negatitivley, not looking to win , just looking to not get hit a lot.

if the fight is made and you cannot expect kelly to get up for a fight like this, i think there is a chance this goes very late into the fight or even points.

it seems to be the thing to say on this thread, but my assessment it pretty much exactly the same as yours. lockett is probably a natural welterweight who shouldn't have ever gotten a crack at the top of the division. rubio really surged over the last few years and came through with some excellent wins, but i expect the loss to pavlik is the turning point toward the downside of his career. mora is a little flaky and jittery, but a good, quick technical boxer and simon made a shockingly good showing against abraham simply by managing not to get rattled by clean connects and go back to accurate, economical boxing.

IMO Simon's size and weight advantage (Mora is a natural LMW, Simon is more like a natural SMW), and also his busy punching and better power keeps Mora at bay most of the time, to get an UD, but Mora would win more rounds than Lockett or Rubio, that's for sure.
