Peter's thick body doesn't allow him to use that technique naturally. Even if he wants to and sets his mind to throw str8 1-2s, he will always have the tendency to carry that awkward hook along with the right hand shot. Peter's future is not on hold since he has enormous power and as long as he throws and lands, it's gonna work pretty much... Problem is if someone keeps on outpunching him and feinting him - Peter doesn't have any way to slip, turn or come about and outfight his opponent. Chambers should not be the one to make Peter fail as he was not able to keep Povetkin at bay and he was not mobile to avoid the russian coming at him.

His hand speed is under-rated. He's got a decent straight right aswell as evident in those videos, I mean look at the one that took out Juluis Long. He needs to use those two expects a bit more, work on his stamina and drop his weight down back to 240 ish.

The only recognizable fighter in that vid is Julius Long. And that aint sayin much.

Secondly, what the hell are you doing here? Didn't you make a lifetime ban bet on the Peter-Vitali fight?

I can not see from this video that Peter has good speed. Speed in boxing is quite complicated issue, as to be really quick one needs decent reaction time, good footwork, overall coordination,.... and finally good handspeed as well.

On the video, some of his opponents already look like stationary targets (no footwork, not fighting back), so at best you can evaluate his handspeed. Judging by his performance against better boxers, the rest is just not there.

Wlad didn't ruin Peter physically. However, Peter hasn't been the same mentally since he lost to Wlad. I think that Wlad was the first person to hurt Peter, and it really changed the way that Peter has went after his opponents since then.

Great looking KOs. We'll see how he does in his comeback real soon. If Peter is not afraid, and goes and gets Chambers, I think he will win. Peter should be able to walk thru Chamber's punches, if Peter is still the same, as he was in those great KO clips.
