Matt Godfrey is a good fighter. Only loss in germany by close decision so it makes you wonder if he wasnt robbed. Id put him in the top 15 at 200. head to head i would have him at 11 or 12

    Not in the top 10!

Flores beat Ding [a top 10 guy], Nwamu [beat the contender finalist easily], and Herrera.

Licina only beat Herrera, and less impressively than BJ. Licina was hurt pretty bad in that fight

I wouldnt put Darnell in my top 20. He doesnt seem to have the drive anymore, the guy is so out of shape now.

Back when Flores beat him though he was on a real hotstreak, and was a top 10 fighter who was being talked about as Cunninghams next big fight

They aren't main players in the CW division. Ding has power and a chin, but anybody with an inkling of boxing ability can decision him comfortably. Herrera has been beaten everytime he's stepped up and is a former 175. Flores looks pretty good, but he still needs that big win, and he needs to be more active and stop turning down big fights.

YOu have your opinion, I respectfully disagree here. Judah, Brown, Davis, and Nwodo have more than an inkling of boxing ability. Despite this, they were all KOed in spectacular fashion by a motivated Ding.

Also you are wrong, Herrera has not lost every time he stepped up. He KOed Aaron Williams for one, and he KOed Jorge Castro and George Blades to boot. Those are some good wins for Herrera, he is considered a hit or miss kind of fringe contender. And dont forget that the IBF champ Adamek was also a former 175 figher

    Less impressively than Flores,hm!

According to the fight news and most of the posters who watched Flores do his job against Herrera Flores didnt set the world on fire with his performance.

Licina was decked in round 1 of his encounter with Herrera, but quite impressively came back outpoint him and making him pay for that ko before taking him out in the second half of their fight.

Licina also holds victories over gate keepers Karanevich and Abdoul,Otis Griffin,Lubos Suda(who is on par with Ding,he beat Arslan,Ding lost to him),Robert Norton, and Kendrick Releford.
Actually,I for my part think that Licina's fight record is better than Flores ' one.

Flores record is better than Licinas. Thats why he is rated higher in the independent rankings, and those havent even been updated with his last win yet.

Otis Grifin? Now theres a guy whose never won a fight when he stepped up. Hes a supermiddleweight who lost to Jess Brinkley...Karanevich, Abdoul are cans who had 15 losses a piece (20-something by now). Never seen Suda fight, but that win over a green Arslan was in 2003. We might as well bring up Licinas loss to Kuziemski in 2005.....I dont see Licinas opponents sniffing the top 50 at 200, except for Herrera and Suda.

Flores beat Wilson (top 10), Nwamu (top 20), and Herrera (top 25), whereas Licina has Herrera (top 20) and Suda (top 25), so the resume argument goes to Flores pretty easy in my opinion.

I saw Licina vs Herrera, I thought Licina looked good. He is a threat at 200. I wont even say hes got a shaky chin because Herrera can bang. Flores did look better though, he won 9 rounds and danced one round away, it was a clinic whereas the Licina fight was a battle.

On the other hand I did not see the Godfrey fight, you are right maybe the decision was legit?? Did you see that fight
