He should fight a WW, plain and simple. Can't believe people are salivating over this matchup...

So you'd rather Floyd fights a B level welter?

And what is JMM? An A level WW? :huh

Look, I am aware of how good JMM is. HUGE fan of his. But Floyd's just TOO big. Terrible for for everyone except Floyd and Marquez (since he'll get a decent payday).

Well he's not gonna come back against Cotto, Williams or Mosely. It's either gonna be JMM or a B level fighter WW. I'd rather it was JMM than some undeserving bum.

I mean who is there? Who would you like to see him come back against? They're either too **** or too small.

Great idea??? Skill and style wise . . . yes it looks good. But JMM is still at 135 planning to fight at 140 and PBF is at 147.

This is not on even grounds.

Marquez is definitely too small for this fight, and it would be a convincing win for Mayweather, if only because his punches land with that much more authority, and Mayweather can control the distance and tempo.

But as a Marquez fan, I'd like to see him get the fight, because of the purse. The winner of Pac-Hatton brings a lot of money too, but Pac seems to want nothing to do with Marquez, and he will most likely win. If Hatton wins, a rematch with Mayweather brings much more money than Marquez.

Basically, Marquez gets left in the cold without an opponent yet again. I'd rather see him get this big payday as his career ends, even if it's a certain loss.

Me too. And hopefully Floyd would take the fight at LWW.

Manny will fight JMM again. But i see him winning pretty easily this time - too big vs too old. Thats esp true if JMM gets Floyd and takes another bad beating.

Ideal scene - JMM gets Floyd then Hatton. Pac gets Hatton then Floyd.

If this fight were to happen, it would be at 140 lbs, its just that simple......Mayweather imo can still make that weight comfortably.

To Mayweather fanatics like Pimp C who would view this matchup as a tuneup?:rofl:lol:they've got another thing coming.....Pimp C talks this crap because he knows that fight is unlikely to happen.....but I guarntee you he'd be shitting his pants right before the bell rung for round 1!:yep

Mayweather is'nt stupid.....he knows who's a threat and who is'nt.....and I guarantee you as good a boxer Mayweather is, he has respect for JMM.

I dont believe Mayweather would take JMM as a tuneup, so the fight would'[nt get made as Mayweather's comeback fight, simply because he'd demand to much money.

Alot of people on this board underrate JMM's caliber.....I'm telling you guys, as a first fight back fighting JMM at 140 lbs, I'd be nervous as hell if I were a Mayweather fan.
