I can swear the second Briggs fight was on HBO a couple years back.He has fought on Showtime twice,HBO,ESPN Classic,ESPN FNF, VERSUS and Foxsports.

yea, i think that might've been on HBO also. Im pretty sure it was an undercard one night. The guy isn't main event HBO material unless fighting a guy like Hopkins. He got dismantled by Dawson on Sho, in Dawson's real coming out party. Forget about Versus, FNF, they pay 50k on the high end. Adamek is a good fighter but should beg for any fight vs Hopkins on WCB. Biggest $ fight he'll ever get. Get real Tomasz!!

Look. All else aside. If all GBP is offering is a half a mill, and they're prepared to go to press to say that adamek priced himself out is the reason that the fght wasn't made. Then hops is scared of tomasz. However, these are probably just first stage negotiations from GBP. Let this fight marinate, as it's what it needs to build.
Anyway I'll just repost my opinion here . . . GBP is unbelievable, You can't offer flat $500,000 to a IBF champ and Ring belt holder at the same time . . . that's way too low. It's sad . . . and it's an insult to Adamek. :deal

Adamek's problem is he is a cruiserweight, a division nobody really wants to fight in. There isn't money in that division. And, unfortunately, Adamek got beat soundly by Dawson as a LW. He's had a couple nice wins at CW, but be real....what does that mean in the big picture? It don't mean millions of $$$
That's ridiculous, Adamek would get more for fighting a German contender like Marco Huck. He made 300k against Thomas Ulrich FFS.
