Germany: the Hotbed of Boxing

    Why are you emphasizing on the word event:huh
    What important is, is whether those events where big or not..
    I mean what are you trying to say with that? Because if I'm able to organize a boxing show it's also an event (frankly, every boxing show is an event).
    Hill vs Maske for example was a disgraceful event because the quality of their match did not match the expectations of the whole show itself.

    The difference between Germany and the Uk is that a casual British sport fan has probably never head of someone like Gary Lockett or Carl Froch whereas his German counterpart is quite familiar with names like Thomas Ullrich or Karo Murat.

    Germany plunders the rich shore of the countries of the former soviet union. You can hardly find a skilled young fighter in Germany.
    Most of the German gyms are either dominated by Turks or young so-called German-Russians(especially in the south of Germany).Ethnic Germans prefer going to McDonalds to sweating in a gym.
