I agree. I think Briggs swallowed a whistle before and that explains the wheezing sound.

He's trying to make himself so out there and controversial that people will want to see a titleholder shut his mouth.

    Its not working.

I'd like to see Briggs earn a title shot with his fists, not his mouth.

The hardest part of all that drivel is the logo. Nice piece of artwork.

It's about time. After repeated anemic performances he should call it quits. This move will help the HW division a lot. :yep

It's the Amercian Dream to be the Heavyweight Champ and retire, what's wrong with what Briggs is doing...???

Honestly Suge... he comes off like a whiny kid with his name calling. It's bad enough to see keyboard warriors doing it on these forums (not just about the Klitschko bros either), but a grown man who's been a titlist saying things like that? It's just not funny. Quietly hanging them up would show a lot more class than mouthing off like this.

At the very least he needs to talk with his fists as well as his mouth.

Your entitled to your opinion, and it's a good one and valid for you. However, many would disagree with you. Briggs is a funny mother****er, and he hits like a truck.

You know...I like Shannon, but he needs to stop sounding like he's a victim. He has had more than his share of opportunities throughout his career...more than most fighters.

He really should stop calling out Wlad Klitschko...he had his opportunity to fight Klitschko back in 2002. He faced Jameel McCline in a title eliminator and lost. Had he won that fight, he would have had his title shot against the steel hammer.

If this version of Shannon wasn't so inactive, networks might actually be interested in showing his fights. He was the WBO champ back in 2007 and both HBO and Showtime turned away from his fight against Ibragimov. He was forced to showcase that snoozer on pay-per-view.

Fact is, right now he's considered too much risk and not enough reward. if he were a more exciting fighter and there was more of a demand to see him, he could get big fights. But, he isn't...sorry Shannon, you had your time.
