Will a TKO win for David Haye over Wladimir Klitschko be for the better of boxing?

He would blast his mouth off around the media in the UK about how the division is ****. Then sit around for 9 months being on again off again with an opponent before settling with Cliff Couser. It's a ****in' dream come true.

Technically Haye doesn't even have to KO or beat Wlad to earn respect. Imagine if he goes all 12 rounds and puts on an oustanding performance? Same difference.

Point being...Haye needs to come out of this fight looking outstanding for the HW division's sake.

Firstly I never even suggested as much-I know you didn't accuse me or single me out I'm just clearing that up

Try telling me you didn't make a blind assumption about the image of people posting in this very thread

Really? Explain their view on using performance enhancing drugs?

Vitali was given a medical steroid by a doctor for a leg injury. This is very common, he was an amateur, and he was VERY honest and forthcoming about the issue. He simply wasn't allowed to fight in the Olympics because that substance wasn't allowed to be lingering in this system. It wasn't as if he was juicing up on performance enhancers. It isn't as if he hasn't been tested for steroids since then. If Wlad was also taking steroids right along side Vitali as you suggest... then why didn't Wlad test positive as well?

When did i say that Wlad was a bad champion? Im just saying that haye would be a better one because he would create more noise and interest for the HW division with his style and his personality.. Let's face it, boxing fans dont care too much about Wlad's humanitarian work instead, they'd rather have an exciting champion who's outspoken like Ali and Mayorga...

Bottom line is, haye's style and personality is more attractive even to the casual boxing fans and he'd do more justice for the division.

James Toney has tested positive for steroids not once but TWICE!

So has Glass Jaw Roy Jones (one of your hero's)

Because Wlad is in shape he is on steroids? :huh

You are speaking about a very small number of fans who don't care about that sort of thing. You are completely forgetting about all of the people from Wlad's homeland, as well as all of the people throughout the countries that he has helped. Just because there are a lot of ignorant fans out there who have their heads up there asses don't mean that nobody cares about that stuff. Besides that, David Haye isn't even known by casual fans in the states... so obviously his mouth isn't carrying him too far. The only people over here who have any idea who he is are the type of people who bother getting on message board and boxing websites all of the time. That is a very SMALL fraction of boxing fans around the world.

Wladimir and Vitali may have glass jaws and little to no heart, but they're smart.

They know that they can cycle on and off the juice ever since Vitali was caught. Hell, knowing them, they're probably on the undetectable substances.

    You don't know them, obviously.

You still haven't answered the question. If Wlad was doing steroids right along side Vitali... why didn't Wlad test positive at the same time as well?

Not entirely fair. For one David Haye has been brutally snubbed by HBO until recently. Haye was in Germany for Wlad-Rahman and wanted to speak after the fight (Lennox Lewis was pushing for it) but HBO said no because they weren't going to advertise somebody who had previously faught primarily on Showtime.

For a while Haye got caught in between the boxing political cycle and now he seems to be getting out of it if he can fight Wlad.

Here's hoping HBO realizes what a valuable asset he can be if he wins vs Wlad.

Just because they weren't juicing at the exact same time does not mean that they did not juice at all.

Like I said, just because the Klitschko brothers are robotic, boring as hell to watch, have glass jaws, and no heart... It doesn't mean they're dumb.

Why do I get the feeling reading some of these posts that if oh say James Toney or Sam Peter were champions these same people saying the Heavyweight Division is weak, boring, etc. would be telling us how strong and exciting the Heavyweight Division is with the EXACT same fighters fighting in it?

    :huh
