Will a TKO win for David Haye over Wladimir Klitschko be for the better of boxing?

Find a different sport to talk about. This forum should be used by people who have actually seen a boxing match.

Sam Peter was a champion last year and we still said it was the shits. More so because Peter was a lugging brute with little desire.

    Swing n a miss.

Wlad and Vitali are great champions...but as I've stated over and over again it's 3-10 in the division that need sprucing up. If Haye were to push Wlad, the division would be much better.

    I don't hate the Klitschkos.

In fact, I was a big fan of Wladimir back when he was a rapacious offensive dynamo. In his fights against the likes of Jefferson and Mercer on HBO, Wlad actually took risks and put up some praiseworthy performances. He would not clinch and produce borefests like he did with the likes of Ibragimov or Thompson -- when he saw an opening, he went for the kill.

Then after his glass jaw was exposed, he's been relegated to fighting like a giant Ukranian *****.

I remember reading on this very message board how Sam Peter was going to take over the Heavyweight Division how he was the second coming of Mike Tyson etc. I have said he was a skill less joke all along and people called me crazy etc. You are having a little revisionist history with your comments after the fact.

    To answer the original question......yes!
    And he will!.....its about time!
Haye KO's Wlad......rematch, fight with Vitali, unifications = Good for the HW division in its current state!
Love him or hate him, a Haye KO will be great!
I for one can't wait to see it happen!

Maybe by guys like Fourtyounce and Punisher aka Klitschko haters looking for somebody.

Noone outside of them, Don King, Lou Duva and Sam's immediate family had that sort of vision.

NO. Wait until you have a 7 year old boxing fan for a son & you'll appreciate a good sportsman like Wladimir Klitschko. I can think of no better role model for my son.

It was several different people on here. I remember them saying he was going to KO Wlad in 2 or 3 rounds etc.

Peter is a never was. He has no skill and is a fat lazy slob.

    TKO? :?

When Haye lands Wlad is going to spend at least 10 minutes unconscious on the canvas.

How about someone who actually takes risks in the ring? Someone who actually displays a heroic heart when under distress instead of folding over like an accordian?

I have this powerful feeling that if that were to happen Vitali would challenge Haye, and then we would have Haye-Vitali, in which Haye would get ****ed up beyond belief in a prolonged beating by Vitali for beating his brother.

Haye is better off just losing to Wladimir

That's not really how it works. Darchinyan, Caballero, and Calderon are in the ring P4P top 10 without beating anyone else in the P4P rankings. Rafael Marquez appeared in 2005 without beating any top 10 P4P fighters, Mosely appeared in 1998 without beating any top 10 P4P fighters. Hopkins got his place in 1999, the year he beat Robert Allen and Antwun Echols  (neither top 10 P4P just in case you didn't already know :p )

Anyway, Haye weighs about 13% less than Wlad so in P4P terms he should get ranked higher if he beats him - he has fewer pounds to divide his talent by lol.

    P4P is stupid.:D
