I'd give him immense credit for beating pac, but hes not going to. Id give him some credit for beating JMM but not as much cause of the size difference.

Barry McGuigan and Bunce the Dunce. Personally I think Lennox Lewis has a better achievements than Calzaghe and there are probably a few old timers that you could rank higher than Calzaghe.

phew! i thought you were in agreeance with those people. im guessing people who say stuff like that havent been into boxing very long.
mcguigan? does he hate the british?
maybe because 2 of his losses cam from brits.

Hatton avoided too many of the top guys @ 140 for too many years to get respect from me. Could've fought Zab, Corley, Witter, Holt, Torres, Cotto, and several others @ 140 over the years but he never did. I'm not saying he automatically loses to all of those guys but I am saying he avoided a lot of the stiff competition out there because he was afraid to lose to them. He's had a career of convenience for the most part since the Kostya win. Wins over Urango, Maussa, a shot Castillo, Lazcano do nothing to bolster his resume. He got beat up by a light-punching Collazo so he moved back down to 140 to collect an easy belt. The list goes on and on. Nice guy, decent fighter, but far from a great fighter of even the last decade much less an ATG.

The people saying Hatton picked on a past his prime Castillo are the same ones who where saying Castillo would beat Hatton.

Im not saying Hatton beat a prime Castillo, but he certainly wasnt shot.

His resume ain't that impressive,it's good but nothing excellent.
And he will never be a top 100 ATG whatever the **** he does.

It's on the brink of being a very good resume, IMO. With one excellent win, and 3 or 4 other really good ones.

When has Bunce, or even McGuigan said that Hatton will be/is the greatest british fighter ever?

At 140, Ricky Hatton is very, very good. When anyone fights Hatton at 140, they are walking on dangerous grounds.

Castillo hasn't looked good since the last Chico fight. And, he looked horrid against Lujan.

if he beats pacquiao convincingly, he is right in the same bracket as barrera and morales...
