Bob Arum said Chavez might fight Manny Pacquiao at the end of the year in a major event with a Mexico vs. Philippines theme. Chavez is a junior middleweight and Pacquiao has only fought once above 135-pounds, when he stopped Oscar De La Hoya last December at welterweight.
