I have many. The Fight of the Millenium is Very Special to me, both as a Hardcore to the death, Tito Trinidad Fanatic, and as someone who was looking for a Hero to destroy the Undefeated Streak of the Ricky Martin of Boxing. I was there, live at the Weigh in with the Good People of Puerto Rico, chanting TI-TO TI-TO offsetting the gay ass OS-CAR OS-CAR. The moment that Buffer read the scorecard and announced Tito as the New Welterweight Champ was an unforgettable moment of sheer joy, New Year's Eve at Midnight, the 4th of July and St. Patty's Day in Boston all rolled into a single moment. But I have other favorite fights. Ali-Foreman never, ever fails to bring tears to my eyes when Foreman goes down, and all of Africa is Celebrating the Black Superman, as Ali, my hero, thrusts his fists in the air ALI-BOO-MAYE!!! The Footage of Johnson-Jeffries is still to this day, spectacular, contraversial, and wonderful. I love Duran-Leonard 1. An all time favorite, especially the reading of the scorecards. I also love Chavez-Taylor 1, and got the oppurtunity to shake Richard Steele's hand and congratulate him on the stoppage. And Tapia-Romero was awesome as well. I was in the crowd that night. And finally, Duran-Pazienza 1. What a wonderful war. :hat
Watching Barrera school Hamed was particularly entertaining. If not for the fact that it showed everyone that if your gonna try to force your religion down the throat of crowd....... Maybe you should do it AFTER the fight and concentrate beforehand.
