Yeah, thats clever except for a few things. Hide was slow, Vitali moved back but not straight back like his brother and Hide didn't want to absolutely tear his head off. Never underestimate a man who is driven by more than himself. Think of Ali when he fought Foreman, people were actually scared for his life! When Ali fought Liston they thought he was a clown who ran his mouth too much. When a man is good and he is convinced that he can win, anything can happen. In this case, all pundits are saying that Haye has no chance. Why? Because Klitschko is taller? Has more win? He has proved to be beatable by knockout and he has even been knocked out by guys who weren't even that good when they fought him so why can't a guy who was a champion in a division down beat him? I say he can. I also think the fight will be a mismatch because Haye will be the one guy who comes at Wladimir reguardless of his jabs.

Hide is generally considered to have some of the fastest hands in recent HW memory.

There is a big difference between Vitali-Hide and Wlad-Haye. Wlad has less resistance to a head shot than does Vitali, and Haye is faster, punches harder, and is more aggresive than Hide. Wlad's jab is better than Vitali's, and Wlad may be all around more skilled. But Wlads skills go out the window when he gets nailed ,and gets that confused, hurt, deer in the headlights look. Of course Wlads jab may shut down Hayes offense, it remains to be seen how Haye deals with Wlads jab and straight right from the outside.
But in no way is the Wlad-Haye fight going to resemble Vitali-Hide. It is 4 completly different fighters.

Hide was certianly not slow , but Haye is better that Hide ever was and Wlad isnt as tough as Vitali is ( especially back then )

Back in the 60s did boxing fans label Liston as quitter the way they did Vitali? Or is it a double standard for the Klitschkos?

    Like the commentator said

"Hide has been so inactive he has only fought 5 rounds for the entire duration of Klitchkos career"

Haye has a terrific counter for a jab - look out for it....Haye has more than a puncher's chance I'd say..

This is Vitali - not Wladimir guys :)

Anyway Hide didn't look slow and Vitali KO'ing a guy in 2 rounds who 4 years back was KO'd in 6 rounds by Bowe - even if Hide was rusty - is quiet a respectable achievement.

I think it would be cool, if Vlad was to get Hide as a sparring partner.

If you want to think that the Haye will fight reckless with that low left hand and throwing big wide shots then you're crazy. Wlad is no Maccarelli and will make short work of Haye if that's the case (or Haye might get a quick KO). But I think that Wlad is going make Haye fight differently than we're used to seeing. Haye's never tasted a jab like Wlad's (seriously, it's probably as hard as some of power shots Hayes taken at cruiser) so we won't know until fight night how he'll react to it.

Pretty funny: In the vid, after knocking him down Vitali waves with his hands as if he was saying: "come on - stand up - there is more where this came from". Once again proves Vitali's desire to hurt.

You're right dude... i have said this several times... Haye may not have faced a jab as long and powerful as Wlads but he has seen many faster and has rarely been hit with them such is the guys reflexes. One of Haye's best weapons has always been his ability to slip to the right of the jab and throw a left hook come cross straight down the middle before unleashing his signature right cross/hook which usually ends the night and could very well do so against Wlad too
