    Good post pal :good

As Mr Kool stated in the opening thread, he certainly closed out some very tech guys but as is noticeable,he did however it is looked at lose to a big gunner. Froch is up there with the guns and aye i damn well want him to win. I cant call this but if he wins, thats massive. If he loses, strangely, for me HE is still massive.

Nothing to do with my avatar.

I disliked Froch way before the bad mouthing of Calzaghe started.

I just think he is a big mouth ***** who thinks he's a lot better than he actually is. He hasn't fought anybody of true world class and he's 31 now. Going life and death with Pascal is not a sign of a worthy champion for me, fair enough he has balls but that's the only thing he's got going for him.

The bad mouthing about a retired british fighter who he had no justification for a fight with to start with has also done him no favours. I hope he gets outclassed badly and if he doesn't then he certainly will against Kessler if that happens.

fair play. i agree he is mouthy and overrates himself big time. but like you said, he has balls which is admirable and is willing to make exciting fights. i dont just like boxers who have the skills, i like boxers who make exciting fights for the boxing fans. a win for froch will guarantee more top fights with uk interest. thats why i will back him before more skilled boxers who are less willing to make the fights fans want to see.

TJ you pretty much answered everything that he does "wrong" is why he does his way of "right"

He thinks he is much better than he is ?

Fighters do, even when they arent. If they dont, sure they should, i hope.

He is 31......more reason to have found he still has a stall and a "not bad one" considering.............and to shout from it as he damn well should.............he thinks he got the best bananas.......whether he does or dosent, he needs to get them out there. Sell, Market and funnily enough put it all on the line at such an "age" and take ya biggest win on holiday.

Life and death to win the WBC he did, regardless of his recklessness.........that confirms "said" answers before.

I dont know the guy. I know what i see...........maybe i should watch Bunce's boxing hour or scour the net tab's for 1st minute info.

Regarding Calzaghe, for me, i wouldnt talk of any fighter, better or less than me, same as a work colleague. The calling out is wrong and not wrong but that boy has maybe won that fight a million times in his room, his gym, his head etc

Basically, if Carl Froch was asked, who do you respect or admire ? Cal will be top before he is bottom

Style make fights. Hopkins was too tentative in his fights with Taylor and allowed Jermain to fight his fight and without undue stress and pressure.

Froch will be easier to outbox early in the fight but his complete lack of fear and constant attempts to engage Taylor in a brawl will tire Taylor out and exacerbate the flaws which have already been shown in less physically demanding fights.

Froch will have Taylor hanging on by the end. No doubt in my mind about that. It's just about whether it all might come too late for Froch on the scorecards.

I'll go for Froch TKO11. I think he'll need the knockout.

As always Ill be supporting my home figher, but he has been moved too slowly and for a reason. Hes wide open and his chin is constantly exposed. Hes got power and thats it. I dont rate Taylors power at this weight and so Froch will have his moments, but that will be all. Taylor UD by 3-4 rounds.
