The Frazier vs Holyfield thread has been going on for a while, so I thought I'd do a kind of mirror image one. How does this one go down? Will FOTC Ali do better than Holyfield did or worse?

Much better, see Donald vs Cooper on how it went down. But it has a lot to do with styles. Holyfield didn't mind taking risks and that took its toll every now and then. But Ali matches up great with big one-punch hitters.

It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had Lane not given Holyfield a standing count against Cooper. He definitely looked ready to go then.

But Ali wouldn't have been landing them uppercuts that Holy did. And it was the uppercuts who did Cooper in finally.

    Come on guys.

Cooper was a poorman's Frazier. Yes he was dangerous but Ali outboxed better boxers than Cooper. Cooper was lazier on the inside than Frazier and worse stamina and heart. He also had a worse chin than Frazier.

Holyfield took Cooper lightly became he was a substitute for Damiani who was a substitute for Mike Tyson.

Cooper lost all his big fights.
