    If this fight had happened in 2006 how do you see it going?

    I go for Hatton at 140, and Cotto at 147

    cotto would have taken him apart, hatton beat a shot kostya tszyu with low blows, rabbit punches, elbows and punches after the ref said to break. cotto wasn't as good at 140 as he was at 147 but he was still more than good enough to destroy hatton.

    Hatton is too physically strong for Cotto at 140, who struggled with the weight and therefore could be hurt by relatively light punchers at times.

    He'd batter Hatton at 147 though.

    Wow that fight was so talked that days almost daily was a treath about this fight. I remeber the war between Hatton and Cotto fans that day. Damm now this fight is not even mentioned, becuase everybody know that Cotto can't make the weight and if Hatton move up he will get destroyed, so this fight is never going to happend, that so sad.

    Depends where the fight took place.
    MEN arena etc much better chance for Hatton.
    Also depends on ref.
