eddie is definitely a trainer who could help miguel make the neccessary adjustments. i like him for the job for many of the same reasons i suggested buddy mcgirt. neither guy is going to try to force an action fighter with brass balls and heavy hands to pitter patter around an opponent on points. eddie is the kind of realistic trainer who get his guy to improve his technique as a means to preserve the chin, serve the big attack and tap the athleticism that sometimes gets lost in the desire to just bang and fight.

Well all this talk is just fantasy, i dont think Cotto will change trainer unless maybe if he loses again.

    Anyone but Mayweather Sr.
(Cause then A fight Vs. Lil' Baby Tiny Floyd Jr. would really never happen, Still ain't)

The Police Richardson might be cool, I say just stay with his uncle.

Like it or not....Cotto is committed to his Uncle for the duration of his boxing career. He has stated it on a number of occasions.

Think he's fine with his current trainers, he got far enough with them and above all they're family, so they know him better than anyone as he knows them.

I wouldn't consider the Margarito fight a loss in any way, Cotto was getting hit with plaster against a cheating fraud low life. That wasn't even a loss and I still consider Cotto undefeated so he's doing fine unless someone beats him fairly.

Ok even if you dont consider the Margo fight a loss he still gets hit alot, even in the fights he wins.

Someone who made him a little slicker on the inside, gave a few tweaks to his head movement, taught him how to clinch effectively, and for God's sake, block an uppercut.

Mayweather Sr. would be my pick.

Don't let Buddy even walk into Caguas.

That's the way he fights and always did, very hard to completely change him at this stage. Even though he does get hit easily he still knows how to survive well, the Margarito fight is a farse so I won't use that as an example. Even when he's hurt he usually fires back and holds on if he needs to. It will be great if he can improve his defense but it will be too difficult at this stage, he's already used to it and has been applying this style all his career.

Clottey is going to test how big of a farce it really was. Stamina and hand issues aside, I'm not sure there's a damn thing he doesn't do as well if not better than Margarito.

Technically Miguel throws quite a few jabs so he pop the jab enough to be a Buddy McGirt fighter.

Questions are can he drink enough water to be a Buddy McGirt fighter and can he do what they worked on in sparring?
