Hello, Just wondering, Edwin Valero has just won another title at a second weight. How many of you think that he could KO a 140lb or 147lb champion sometime in the future? Predictions please. Regards UndisputedUK
Almost impossible to say. The guy is a two weight world champion already, and he hasn't even fought any great competition. He fought some decent fighters, Pitaula included, but still has to prove himself. When you think a 2 weight world champion has yet to prove himself, you get a good idea of what is wrong with Boxing these days. Too easy to win titles. Too many titles, full stop.
Very far.. Valero is a born puncher, a natural puncher with heavy hands kind of like George Foreman.. A puncher like him will carry his power all the way up to 140 and be very affective.. I think at 147, he's power will still be there but it's not going to be as devastating...
I think his power can take him as far as 147 ... I don't think he will go that far but in boxing you can never say never. I know for sure that his power will take him as far as 140 lbs.
it depends on who he fights,if he fights the top guys Pac,JMm or Guzman he gets his ass handed to him ,if he doest fight the top guys he can keep fighting bums and winning vacant titles without much of a problem.
