I'm about as pumped up as a flat tire. Erdei is one of the most bogus champions in recent memory.

My guess is he'll be fighting some C level chump and continuing dodging meaningful fights.

    In August?!

Oh great, so as well as fighting terrible opponents, he's now inactive as well! Oh my ****!

he get a lot of criticism and all but he remind of joe calzaghe in that only in the later part of his career will he prove himself.. i am sure he will prove himself to the critics

My understanding about Erdei is that he is perfectly content to just make money, that he isn't in it for the glory or to be an ATG, and doesn't even particulary want to fight hard fights and that he doesn't hide this fact. I could be wrong but that's what I believe I heard.

So do you consider Eubank/Mitchell to be at the level of Gonzales/Garay?

Mitchell and Garay are definitely comparable ability-wise. I won't talk about how overrated Eubank is...

Yeah, that's true actually. It might be time for him to be thrown to the wolves....

If it is a unification fight, I guarantee his team will not expect him to be winning.

no. but what i mean is now is his time, to fight someone like chad dawson or adrian diaconu to prove himself. i do not know if he will win but this is his shot!

Probably similar like Garay who is the WBA champion now.

I agree somehow that Erdei is following Calzaghe and finally in
a two or three years he will have his own career defining fight.

    It will be Juergen Braehmer.

    I'm almost certain.

Erdei should fight Miranda or at least Brähmer, or someone worth of the championship bout, but you can bet your life on it he will fight someone nobody ever heard of before, collect the check and keep on in this manner es long as he don't have to enter the ring wearing diapers under his trunks ;-)
