    WORLD CHAMPION SUFFERS A BRUTAL BEATING IN MERIDA

    The result of a huge brawl which occurred on sunday in the early hours. in a well known night club in merida. super feather weight world champion edwin valero was injured. the incident occurred around 3:00 am in the discotheque Racing Bar, located in the CC Alto Prado. the authorities indicated that edwin valero was leaving with a group of friends when without warning, he was brutally attacked by persons unknown, who wounded him with a knife on his forehead the director of the merida police, Alberto Daniel Quintero, informed that valero was immediately taken to HULA.(hospital) it appears that valero has been disfigured.

    Man oh man..Now this is where an entourage comes in handy..Those punk ass ***gots..why fight with a knife..Come on..it could not of been that serious to freddy kruger a mother ****er...A pro fighter...or anybody....I hate that ****..When there is a fight in the clubs here in bmore its like that ****..***gots pull a blade and get to yanking...What breed of ****** has become of people. If you fight with fists..the better man wins and all go home.. Maybe need ice packs...but what the ****...There should be rules of the street or some ****.. I hate guns knives grenades or any other punk ass warfare weapons..if we all hand to fight hand to hand there would be no wars..

    IN spanish you have either a arma blanca or arma de fuego. Arma de fuego is a fire arm, and a arma blanca is a blade.

    The articl at the end says his face was disfigured, he was hit in the forehead with the blade.

    Now I understand, the other translation was horrible. I hope Valero will be able to recover from this tragic event, that guy is really accident prone.
