Dust off Angelo, he got another run in him. Bob worked with him in the past with Sugar Ray. And Angelo cameo with Oscar can't be the way he wants to be rembered. Cotto already knows how to fight and has shown he knows how to box, Angelo would only be a boost in the corner, the missing piece to re-rail Cotto back on track, after the Margarito nightmare. Hey, wasn't the argument over Miguel wanting to train in Miami, not Tampa, and isn't that where Angelo reside.

 

Birmingham was also Jeff Lacys trainer. :barf

 

Just a name bouncing around in my head right now. Perez is a very well known savvy trainer who helped reign in MAB. He has experience with come forward brawlers and he speaks spanish which I think is still a big aspect we're overlooking.

 

Nobody can save Lacy though, its like blaming Roger for Wes Furgeson.

I wrote on here after the margo fight that he needed a trainer, I also think he needs to train at altitude but that's another thing. The question wether there is enough time for them to work to do enough tweaking, so it's instinctive.
