Carl Froch might be on ITV!!

I saw this thread title & was planning my night....................gutted

 

They all start at 2, what time they finish is the problem!

 

There is not a cat in hells chance this is going to be on Itv. ITV aint gonna have an audience at 3am and they are dire financial straits at the moment. I'm hoping setanta snap this up at the last min for a cheap price otherwise we are buggered unless any of the foreign channels are showing this in Europe? Any ideas anyone...

 

I dont care if its on ****ing Diva TV, as long as its on. More people are going to watch it then people think (cue the jokes "what so 5 people instead of 3, grow up people!)

 

Ain't it telling though that NO-ONE is saying that Sky aught to show this. Mind you Setanta saying 'trying to get this' if they don't is pretty low in my book. I pay for the home of boxing not the home of trying to get boxing.

Getting really pissed off about this not being on now even if it does end up being on Setanta at the last minute it's hardly good for boxing and most if Froch's fans will miss out.

 

If Froch beats Taylor it will be a very good win. His name will soar.

A channel should buy it and make out like they are the saviours. Setanta should get it and play the whole 'home of boxing' thing into overdrive. They should promote the **** out of it. I think Carl Froch might be better known than people think. Afterall he has been on a couple of ITV cards that have got him some decent exposure.

 

Im sure they said it was going to be on itv 4.

 

ITV4 are showing a preview. If they don't show the actual fight, it would be a real kick in the teeth.

 

i think theres alot of negotiations going on, and the longer it goes on then the less money froch and hennesey make. i think setanta want to leave it as late as possible so they can get it for the cheapest price possible. hennesey doesn't want to see that so he sets up a website to try and force them to a deal.

 

I find it hard to see how this can be the fault of the TV companies, this has to be down to Henessey and to an extent Froch. A TV company will pay the price if it makes business sense, if it doesn't - they won't.

Mick should have a bit of respect for the fans and Carl should be ****ing outraged at not getting exposure. My guess is that it's down to their greed. It's absolutely ****ing appaling and you'll never make a penny out of me if I don't get to see this fight on TV you mercenary ****s.
