Hagler ruined Mugabi. I think this is one of the most impressive examples.

    - Excellent and valid point. Most pertinent answer to this thread.

    - After that Calzaghe annihilated Lacy, and ripped his souls out.

    - Someone mentioned Miguel Cotto after Margo, but no way IMO because when interviewed and everything he seems quite together mentally. For example, he speaks understandable English even though he is Puerto Rican.

    - Tsyzu V Judah =

    - Haye v Maccarinelli is a possibility

even though morales had a fab career, but pac put a stop to it!
Or you can argue that the MAB fights helped put a dent on Eric's fighting future.

Why not throw Zahir Raheem in there?

He beat Morales before Pac beat Erik, and very comfortably (118-110 on one card)

Its more likely that natural decline beat Morales rather than any one particular fighter; but if anyone should get credit it should be Barrera.

i have to go with what a few others have said. Trinidad-Reid. Everytime this questions gets brought up, I immediately think of this fight. Reid was thrown to the wolves, out of boxing about a year later.
