One of the best offensive arsenal if not the best of all time.

I watch that Lewis video, then I watch Roy, and Roy was such a better offensive powerhouse compared to Lewis.

Lewis towered over most of his foes, Roy didn't. I gotta say Lewis was awesome with getting leverage on that right cross, the way he brought it down with all his weight, that video shows multiple times he unleashed that jab-to-right cross right down on the head shot.

Roy couldn't change his shot in mid-motion it seemed. Just awesome speed and power mixed.

I agree he has one of the best of the past decade....but not one of the best of all time....thats just insane.

Oh and he didnt beat JMM, it was a draw. He dominated the first round....then got his ears boxed off for the majority of the rest.

 

Roy could switch from orthadox to southpaw mid combination, leap in with punches, change angles mid combination, use lead uppercuts, right cross, lead hooks of both sides. When talking offensive arsenal there is simply no copmaring the two.

Roy was a great technical fighter, but just not by conventional standards. He adapted conventional boxing technique to allow it to better utilise his great natural gifts.
