If Pavlik doesn't knock out Mora he has officially lost his reign.

Paul is hot right now. I think HBO would gladly buy the fight. They'd be foolish not to.

Well -- if I was Bob Arum I would be thinking, why let Paul grow into the weight? Why give him a chance to improve? Why not grab him now and capatilize on the bump in status he got from beating Winky?

If I were in the ivory towers of HBO, I'd be thinking; Pavlik, Williams, Abraham:think The man that comes out on top is a big star -- let's do this.

If I was Pavlik, I'd probably be thinking, Jesus Christ -- I been trying to get Winky in the ring for 4 ****ing years. Guess I'll have to beat the crap out of the guy who beat him.

If I was Paul, I'd probably be thinking it's a win-win situation. Big pay day, and big jump in respect and status. All I have to do is put on a good show.

This is very do-able and very realistic.

 

You guys are putting a lotta fight in Bob Arum getting over his dislike for big PW.

Personally? I'd like to see some sort of deal worked out so that if Pavlik-Abraham comes about, we can get Paul Williams on the undercard against a guy like Mundine or someone of THAT nature to further hype another MW showdown.

Sounds like good bidness to me.

I fully agree punch 4 punch! He's not a big puncher so if a big puncher like Pavlik stands toe 2 toe it wouldnt last very long 4 Paul. With a fighter like paul your defense has 2 be your offense walk through his punches and land the bigger ones on him. B-Hop did it 2 Kelly (sorta a lil more footwork) hopkins threw way more punches than he normally does in a fight

 

Your right it is a dud but I an really gonna enjoy watching Mora get flatlined!!

 

just put pressure on him and knock him out. i don't think he can take punches from a hard punching real mw like pavlik or abraham. williams should go back to 154 where he would be almost unbeatable.
