    true. he needs to fight more consistently against prime opposition in the next 3 years or so. but if he really wants to be a bankable star, he needs to take the fight to the opponent.

    difficult as it may be to accept to some purists, but aggressors always garner more fans at a faster rate. more fans=bigger purse.

    nonito is the next big filipino fighter in my opinion and the fact that he si training with gerry penalosa would undoubtably make him a better fighter

    Hmm, general santos kid. Well, I tell you this kid has looked ordinary against that African kid.He lost that speed and flashy work he showed when he fought Darchi. Could be the long lay off.I hope so..but I think Martinez upset is on the cards.

    I'm taking Martinez for the upset. The fact that Donaire has had to lose so much weight in such a short time doesn't bode well for him. He could very well be weight drained and weak for this fight.

    No. The coverage starts 10am, Sunday.

    That's probably like 10pm, Saturday. Eastern time, US.
