You mean the one who made a fight with his mandatory, and then the mandatory pulled out a couple weeks before the fight with an injury?

Anyway, that's fine if they strip someone for not taking a mandatory, but if Bradley is willing to fight the mandatories for both belts, then why the hell should it matter other than the WBC wanting to get into bed with Don King?

**** WBC if that fighter was floyd or oscar they already make what ever they fought the mandatory and no matter what they do not strip him, but a fighter like this they quickly strip him.

He is keeping the WBC title mark my words, His promoter is very close friends with Rudy Tellez the vice chairman of the WBC. This is the reason Bradley got his shot to begin with, they know Tellez.

    I'm confused here.

He's basically being forced to dump a belt because the mandatories are both due?

nothing to do with mandatories. He's being told to dump a belt because the WBC feels that it loses control when 2 titles are unified.

Both titles really are about the same nowadays, I'd probably pick the WBC if the standards were right, that was the original belt he won anyways, but unfortunately it makes you wonder how you can get unification with the WBC belt in the future.

Holding on to a title don't mean ****. If you beat the title holder, you're the champ, that's all you need. **** a leather belt. The real reward comes from the actually victory! Nothing changes the history books so you don't need to hold on to your title Bradley. You're already a well established champion.

i so ****ing sick of trying to understand the sactioning bodies. more credibility if you don't strip afighter and let titles change hands in the ring. i try to get my mma fan buddies into boxing, but, it takes me A ****ING HOUR to explain who is a champion and who is a "belt holder". i love this sport and i hate watching it stab itself in the back.
