Haye could have a 3 inch reach advantage. It wouldn't matter. Wlad is going to beat Haye because Wlad is a much better boxer.
Wlad uses every bit of his reach, and then some. He fights very tall to maintain that safe distance. From what Ive seen from Haye, he does not fight utilizing height. Hes quick and seems to move well, but its going to be interesting to see if he can get under Wlads jab and make it a fight, because thats his only chance.
Look at the height advantage. Haye looks so small next to Wlad, and Wlad uses every inch of his height when he fights.
Hmm, never realised the reach difference was quite that low, I would have expected more from their height difference. But reach is torso plus both arms isnt it? so isnt that effectively 1.5 inches per arm?
:roflatsch The reach is not the problem it is the 4 inches in height that will pose a bigger problem and the 25 pound weight difference also. Put the height, reach, and weight together and that spells big trouble for a Glass Jawed fighter like David Haye.
So will Haye be brutally KOed by a Jab? We he return to the #1 champion in your July Glass Jaw rankings? Or be Emeritus Champion? Can you or your 2 alter egos confirm this for us, we are on the edge of our seats.
My prediction is Haye getting knocked out by a jab. His Chin is garbage. Haye will never overtake Amir Khan who has the worst Chin I have ever seen on a rated fighter.
No, he's not. He's very straight up and down. He is not a great boxer. You have to be able to bend at the waist to be considered a great boxer. If Wlad fought his brother, he would lose as his brother while much slower than Wlad is better skilled. If Wlad who is faster, stronger and younger than his brother, cannot beat his brother, is he really a good boxer or just a guy who is signficantly stronger and bigger than the majority of his opposition?
This has nothing to do with this thread, I just saw you were from Poland, and what a fighter you guys have in Adamek. That guy is the Terminator. I can't think of a better name for him. ROy Jones better not fight Adamek. Don't do it, Roy! Don't do it! I agree with your post. Thompson is a much bigger threat than Haye. Thompson has a good chin, longer reach, high punch output, undefeated, and yet Wlad beat him, and beat him good too. I was very impressed with that KO of Thompson. Haye is not nearly as dangerous for Wlad, as was Thompson. I'll hear it from some Haye fans for saying that, but I analyzed both fighters, and I stand by what I say.
Thompson is very straight up and down, not in the shape Klitschko is in, and has no punch. Aside from reach, Klitschko has him beat in just about every category. Thompson also managed to make it a somewhat competitive fight. But both men are like replicas of eachother except Wlad has him beat physically. Haye doesn't fight like Thompson who is really just a large stationary target that uses his size and reach to his advantage, just like Klitschko. It's just as I said, Klitschko is better at utilizing his skillset. Klitschko is a big man that can fight......but his limitation is that he still is a big man who fights like a big man.
You give your own biased opinion and then turn around and pretend like it's a fact. First of all, yes Wlad is a much better boxer than Haye. Second, I happen to believe that Wlad would beat Vitali. You are one of the only people to ever say that Vitali is more "skilled" than Wlad. You overlook the fact that Wlad has the best Jab in the heavyweight division, the best straight right in the heavyweight division, and the best left hook in the heavyweight division. Let alone he gets hit flush less than anyone else in the division.... pointing towards his great defense. You are way off the mark.
