To be fair, in his last 2 fights he has knocked out the two best lightweights and has become linear champ....I think he has got a right to claim to be p4p best.

Casamayor is 37 yrs old and should have lost to santa cruz and was getting beat by katsidis before he knocked him out. The only reason casamayor was still the linear champ is because he beat diego corrales couple of years back. Since that win what has he done?

Juan Diaz was a good win for him but coming into the fight marquez was already favored to win the fight.

I think Oscar was pitifully and woefully shot that evening, but it still was a virtuoso performance. I've seen great, shot fighters make a go of it against a fella who doesnt fight a good fight. Look at Jeff Lacy. Woefully beneath Calzaghe that night, sluggish and lagging, but the performance was still ace. Joe fought the perfect fight.

Pac's win is overrated, as there was no way Oscar was beating him that night, he had nothing. But his performance should get due credit, it was brilliant. Not a foot out of place, accurate shots fired right up the pipe, good angles and foot movement. Not a great win, but Manny still boxed great.

Calzaghe Jones stands out, the fight was completely irrelevant given Jones' deteriorated skills and reflexes.

wow, a few months before PAC-DLH people were talking about it as a crazy match-up. DLH just needed 1 punch to stop PAC, isnt it. Now people are saying the win is over rated. PAC fought a prefect fight, stuck with the plan, and DLH as roach have said and DLH confirmed, can't pull the trigger anymore.

Tillis was pretty much Tyson's first test, Ferguson being the only other decent guy he fought until that point. He was on the way up at that point and learning. Come on, that was a high quality win at that point and an impressive performance for a kid that was used to putting away everyone early.

That wasn't prime Tyson. That was an evolving Iron Mike.

That said, I understand your argument. I just don't think Quick Tillis has anything to do with it.

DLH should have never been ranked 5 anyway...his record has been garbage the last 8 years

with that said...i dont think the fight was overrated anyway...just from a size aspect and skill of both guys..... i think it was a very good win and unexpected by most
