Haye. Basically because I actually enjoy watching him fight. I've never fallen asleep during a Haye fight like I did during Wlad-Ibragimov. I had a dream a few nights ago that Haye won by first round ko - after how accurate my Froch-Taylor dream proved to be, I'm feeling even better about the Haye-maker's chances!! Haye punches hard, is charismatic, wants to fight the best and is vulnerable, which just makes his fights even more exciting. What's not to like?
His talking ? I didn't enjoy Wlads last fights either, back to the Peter fight. But whom I want to win ? Any person that is not Doivid Hoye. And yes, because of his "fans".
I can understand why his trash-talking rubs people the wrong way - I've never minded it though. I've always enjoyed guys like Ali, Toney and Haye who don't just run their mouth but usually back it up in the ring. These days every fighter seemingly has some obnoxious fans who over-rate every quality they have and are blind to their shortcomings. Pacquiao's fans used to really annoy me but that never stopped me enjoying his fights.
Doesn't really matter to me who wins but I have a feeling if Haye takes it he's going to be one of those break up the belts and "I'm only fighting one big money fight per year" champions. That in itself wouldn't be good for heavyweight boxing. I guess only time will tell though.
Haye is not winning this fight guys. Wlad is going to stop him around the 3rd round. Haye is going to refuse to come out and fight and will quit before getting ko'd. Afterwards, he will have an excuse that Wlad didn't want to trade punches and that he didn't come to the fight to play jab. He will consider his loss, a win and will claim that if Wlad had fought him the right way, he would have ko'd him. Expect something along those lines.
Maybe Haye will be destroyed, but it seem evident that Haye is what we need for the future of Heavyweight. Wlad is a lesser version of Lennox Lewis without the killer instinct and that is very boring....:tired
