I would like to know who was in Gairy St. Clairs corner? Was it Craig Christian? Is this the first time Gairy has fought without Lewis in his corner? No way Johnny Lewis would have reacted so poorly to the punishment St Clair took.

Someone needs to be held accountable for this hey, it damages the image of boxing big time. Boxing is dangerous enough as it is.

Sambo Gairy's chief second was Losh Matthews and has been for his last couple of fights to my knowledge

Johnny and Gairy stopped working together along time ago. Pretty sure the Amir Khan fight was there last together.

Losh Matthews has worked Gairy's corner in recent fights...Craig Christian has not been involved with Gairy St Clair for years.

Face full of snot, two kids being as cheeky as poss but apart from that not too bad at all. LOL Looking forward to Geale-Mundine and am hoping to lose as much weight as possible between now and then. If I could ref Mundraby V Lerio every day between now and then I will probably weigh around 69KG :p

My apologies, was unsure which corner Craig Christian was in. Has the corner commented on it at all?

    Thats cool Sambo.:good
Craig has not been with Gairy for a very long time.
1 thing about Craig Christian tho Sambo, as a boxing trainer he absolutely looks after his fighters 110% & would never allow 1 of them to be as seriously hurt as Gairy St Clair had become late on in that match.
I spoke to Craig at length after the bout & he was visibly concerned for Gairy in the dressing room & feels there was no need for him to take that much unnecessary punishment.
Gairy's trainer Losh Matthews & the referee Gary Ingraham to an extent after allowing the fight to continue after such a hard knockdown in round 9 need to have a serious look at themselves IMO.

Yeh definatley Kegsy.. Like its been said boxing is dangerous enough as it is you know, and thats without having the ref and your corner making such poor decisions.

N.B. Did not intend to dis-credit Craig Christian by any means, he's a good trainer and his experience is evident whenever he takes a corner. Just got confused in the heat of the moment about which corner St. Clair lived in for the fight.

Being up close for the fight. Gairy took a hell of a lot of punches he would normally have avioded. I really hope the people around him can convince him to retire. He has been a great fighter for years and id hate to see him as a stepping stone for young guys to beat up on.

worst thing out of it all was Briggs's performance abusing the ref. he is there to commentate for ****s sake.
abusing the ref. get our there and do it yourself if you know everything? plus as above, if he was in so much danger his corner (the chick is his wife) whould have thrown in the towel.
ben you maybe able tyo shed some light but rumour has it the WA boxing commission and reporting it also?
    briggs is a tosser.
