Calzaghe would of gotten so much stick if he called out a retired 37 year old, so why is Froch different?

  2. I see this all the time from fans of Joe , and I'm amazed how many ppl they dismiss as "not worthy"

but some how Manfredo Jr, Ashira, Pudwill, Salem, Thornberry were :huh

Different stage of a career though, no?

Calzaghe reached top three P4P before retirement. Why would he take on Carl Froch who struggled against a blown up middleweight for 11 rounds?

I'm taking nothing away from Froch's win, it was brilliant. But the overreaction since has really done my nut in!

Maybe closer to his prime but no where near the class of either fighter so it means nothing.

Because most people believe that the 'reired 37 year old' would kick the crap out of him!:D

Never been a fan of Joes, allways thought his skills were VERY overated and that he was awfull to watch most of the time, that said this fight would just be a repeat of the Jeff Lacy drubbing.Ive no interest in it.

  7. Manfredo Jr and Ashira were either side of the Lacy fight and he had been a belt holder for 10 years.... what stage of his carrer does he need to be in

Froch should fight Kessler, after a KO. loss, he can forget about the Calzaghe obsession!

Calslappy's dead on. Froch is a bum who was lucky to win; he's not in JC's league.

because at the end of ther day he's a human being and reacted how any of us would to someone constantly using him to promote themselves, it's just verbal self defence man

A bit, I like Froch and his mouth, but honestly I don't rate him much.

Looks like Frochs regular verbal attacks have reeled them in.
