He said he will move up to 126 in the new year and wants Marquez and after Vaquez's eye heals then him....and of course Caballero.
He appears very confident he can clean their clocks.....

Two things occurred Saturday ...Juanma was attended by medics the morning of for a fever and during the fight he dished out so much punishment that....I believe he pulled his power punches....he said the human part of him had to take over.
Also, there is word that Penalosa was pissing blood....( according to EL Nuevo Dia ) which isn't good at all.
That typically causes problems in his later years.
I think that Penalosa was too tuff for his own good.

What are your thoughts on this....I personally am impressed with Penalosa and at the same time concerned for his future health!!!

He will clean the 122 division. I don't think that either Izzy or Marquez will be able to overcome Juanma's workrate and power. So yes he will clean the division.

Definitely is capable of doing so in my opinion.

JuanMa vs Caballero is all thats left to be made at 122. . . Escalante, Dunne maybe?
Vazquez eye will definitely cause a huge delay in the fight being made plus he already expressed an interest in fighting at featherweight and no longer at superbantam.

    Bring on JuanMa v Gamboa!

i think he definitely will clean out the division.this guy is great to watch.he is good for boxing and i just couldn't believe how many punches he threw and how many power punches he landed on penalosa.that cant be good for someones health.but mad props to gerry, any other fighter would have been ko'd way early in this fight after taking punches like that.peeeaaaaaccccceeeeeee

    Definitely possible.

He looked real good with Penalosa in there but I have my doubts he can throw that many power punches against the other top contenders in his division. However, the man is definitely more than just a power puncher and he will probably adapt his game against guys like Caballero or Izzy and Rafa.

Juanma vs Gamboa would be insane. I can see it happening by next year.

i think he can too. Izzy would be his toughest fight but Izzy is a worn out fighter.

JML is the brightest prospect out there right now, and he can definitely clean house at 122. There is not much comp left in the division (Rafa and Izzy had sucked on the last drop of greatness from each other and Caballero is overrated). JuanMa should defo move up where the money and competition are. JuanMa vs. the elusive Chris John, anyone? CJ's pure boxing ability would test him for sure..

Marquez is not as worn out as Izzy even though he lost twice. Izzy's nose, and eyes is having problems, and his war with Jhonny and 3 marquez fights. Marquez got a big punch like Lopez too. Izzy is my boy but he doesn't have much left.

Goo God we need more fighters like these! Willing to clean house and not cherrypick opponents.

Chris John vs. Juanma will be insane! :hey
