Yes and good point about pacquiao too
He was a wild fighter early in his career and now even though he is all action he is controlled with it.
And Freddie Roach obviously having worked with manny now for about 6 or 7 years has honed him into a terrific boxer.
Perhaps Mayweather senior needs more time with hatton in order to change him significantly, but that has never been the intention from senior, the intention has always been to keep hatton aggressive and using the rough house tactics but be smarter at times with more head movement and emphasis on the jab to set up attacks, and only go for throat when its the right time.
Not going like a mad man from minute one thats a sure fire way of getting beaten by the cool pacquiao.
If Ricky can control himself saturday night and use the jab and head movement he will go some way to frustarting pacquaio, he cant afford to go steaming in like he did against floyd jnr and leave himself wide open thats would mean an early night for pac.
Ill be interested to see how pac reacts to a good bodyshot from ricky, it could be the telling shot in this fight

    I agree whole heartedly!

This is all about what Floyd has brought to ricky's game in this last 11 weeks! And how much of it has really transended itself properly!

Roach has got no plan for any senario other than a pre-malignaggi hatton! And this could prove to be a bad misjudgement.

Thats the impression im getting, they dont see a different hatton and so are preparing pac for the old billy graham hatton.
I think hatton had learned from the mayweather defeat the old style is too limited, he has taken on board Floyd seniors changes and I think we will see a very good performance on saturday from hatton and a very controlled hatton.

    1) I think Hatton is a better fighter now than when he fought PBF. He gave PBF a decent fight, even though he took a beating, at a weight which wasn't his best.

    2) Manny is in no way, shape or form close to being as good as PBF.

    3) Manny is has not proven to be a powerful puncher above 130, sorry David Diaz.

    4) Hatton is very quick for his size, and his body punches are deadly. I believe these two factors will have a major factor in the fight.

    5) Manny has never had a fighter pressure him like Ricky Is going to do.

If Manny wins this fight, I will be on his bandwagon; but I think Ricky is just too tough and too strong for him. Once the match turns into a fight, it will be too much for Pacman. Pac has to box all night to win. He can't fight Hitman's fight. The only thing is Manny loves a good fight. He can't run all night. It's not his nature. I think Hatton will stop him by the 7th round. We shall see this weekend.

Hatton should beat that goofy southpaw all the way back to the Philippines.:good

Just watch him, he does punch like an amateur. His head is down and he is looking at the floor swinging in circles. Even Michael Moore said and stated for Manny to watch out when he throws the hook because his head is coming first.

    Pac is gonna get blasted......

Floyd Sr. has not helped Ricky. If Ricky wins it is because he did something good. What Ricky has to do is be busy and work the body and step up and be very aggressive. Does he need Floyd Sr. to tell him that?

I think both Roach is underestimating Hatton and I think Floyd Sr is underestimating PAC, but I believe PAC and Rick have a lot of respect for one anther. It will be a good fight...exciting and bloody! I think PAC takes it by UD or by late stoppage but I can see Hatton winning by KO if he does pull out a "W". If it goes 12 PAC is a shoe in...just my opinion.
