Who do you rate higher: BARRERA or MORALES?

It has to be Morales because head to head the Morales v Barrera fights were controversially close, yet Morales ****ing destroyed two fighters who blew Barrera away in his prime. I can't see how you can argue with that.

 

True. I think it would be hard not to be a fan of Morales. The last round of the 1st Pacquiao fight where he turned southpaw and got cracked with plenty of clean lefts from Pac but never turned back was amazing. It looked like he was enjoying it. One of the most badass things I've seen.

 

MAB h2h he beat Morales 2 out of 3 times ..No controversy the first should of went to MAB the 2nd to EM and the 3rd no question to MAB !!

Its awefully close but I gotta go with MAB.

 

Barrera was definatly better and had the better resume. He also had the guts to fight Juan Manuel Marquez and I thought he was robbed in that fight. Morales didnt even want to fight Marquez. Morales wins are overrated. barrera also proved he was better in the ring.

 

Real close but Morales had a win over Pac Man so based on that I give him a slight edge. I respect both of them but Morales was the more or a warrior!:bbb

I always thought Morales was the greater fighter. He didn't lose fights the same way Barrera did, especially the Junior Jones debacle.

What debacle, MAB was just a victim of unlucky circumstances.

If you saw the first fight then I'm sure you know MAB was winning until Jr Jones connected with a haymaker and in the aftermath Barrera's corner was disqualified for jumping on the ring.

And there's plenty of people who are convinced MAB was jobbed in the second fight.

 

Morales was the man. No doubt about it. Never afraid of anyone and always put up a great fight.

 

Barrera has the much better record, accomplished so much more.
