It seems that they constantly get accused of being ''soccer hooligans or soccer fans'' who come to watch boxing.

    Please watch this Cricket video:

    [YT]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bQvQmhn1ck0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bQvQmhn1ck0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/YT]

Are all these cricket fans really ''soccer hooligans too'' or is it just that we like to support our fighters/teams rather than sit in silence like at German/American events.

hmm says... I think it's just they're getting tired of the Wonderland song. Me, I like the following. It's different and entertaining, but I feel that Wonderland song is getting played out.

    (edit)
Or maybe they think they're all rude like what happened during the PBF fight when they were being loud and rowdy during the U.S. anthem.

They're soccer fans. Not boxing fans. There is a difference. How do you pound on a drum and watch a boxing match at the same time perplexes me. When I watch a basketball or football game, im out of my seat cheering, but when I watch a boxing match, im on the edge of my seat as to not miss a single exchange.

Although it was funny watching Hatton get ring posted during those chants. :rofl

So what are those people in the video I posted? Are they ''soccer fans'' too? How about this one before a Rugby gamne?

    [yt]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pwe3k1dMpdY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pwe3k1dMpdY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/yt]

Are they really ''soccer fans'' disguised as Rugby fans?

    What about this darts game?

    [yt]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/J3ldSkWM4QY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/J3ldSkWM4QY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/yt]

are these soccer fans too? these pesky soccer fans are getting everywhere......or maybe its just the typical English/british way at sporting events and americans envy the fact that there boxers dont get 24 fans abroad let alone 224,000!

Soccer, rugby, darts, same difference. Im saying they arent boxing fans. Bet 90% dont know what south paw means, they just like to come, get drunk and party. Hatton could be entering a bowling tournament and they'll turn up with their drums and horns.

When I watch my favorite fighter, im usually too nervous to say or do anything. Its a serious affair.

    So lets get this right:

    Football fans sing
    Darts fans sing
    Rugby fans sing
    Cricket fans sing

But Hatton/Froch (whichever boxer) fans who sing arnt boxing fans but just a fan of one othe above sports who spend £1000's travelling.....just to sing?

Don't know what south paw is! For ****s sake!

Brits are brought up with terms like that, boxing isn't as small in the UK as it is in the USA. Believe me, not only will every fan at the fight know very well what south paw means and most other boxing terms but most Brits do. My mum knows, my ex-girlfriends knew.

I would be shocked if I heard that any British male didn't know that term.
