Ranee Ganoy v Somchai Nakbalee is scheduled for Nov 30 on an Angelo Di Carlo promotion.

Confirmation that Ganoy has now moved to IBF #13 so he needs to be on his game as he can't afford any set backs at this stage of his career.

Interesting that Nakbalee gave Ranee his first defeat as a professional when they fought in Thailand, so Ranee has some extra motivation for this one.

    Ranee has improved so much.
I expect Ranee to KO Nakbalee thru the middle rounds in an exciting matchup.

might not happen. hes fighting fatai onikeke a month b4 and fatai has improved in leaps and bounds . if fatai ko's him i guess he wont b facing ganoy due to the mandatory lay off after a ko loss

I don't share your opinion that Onikeke has improved much, if at all. Sure he got a ko win against that Thai in his last fight but it looked to me that the import was looking for a get out at his first opportunity.

Anyway, I actually think Nakbalee will be very very competitive against Onikeke...he went well against a way too big Medley, until the huge size factor took it's toll.

    We'l see I guess.

that wasnt the typical taxi cab thai, he had some skill, would go to the extent of saying he was looking for any opportunity to get out but, even though i will admit that i do have a bias opinion, he was hit with a pretty solid punch and i train with fatai and hes definatly improved. hes improved his defence by miles and had neatened up alot overall. i still think hes improved ALOT.. any1 agree ?

i wasnt that impressed with fatai when i saw his last fight looked pretty slow and you can see his punches coming a mile away however if he is improving it does take a while sometimes to adapt it to the ring, how is his speed silvy chris? is he all power or is there some good skills there?

Onikeke will stop Nakbalee in about 9 rounds IMO.

I agree that the thai is a pretty decent kind of fighter, but lets remember that not even his manager was with him that night he fought Onikeke, I think he had to leave the country or may have not even made it here at all.

These Thai's more so than the filipino's who tend to base themselves here whilst active, take fights on very short notice so it appears creditable with all things considered that was the case with this guy. I know Onikeke can punch but IMO it wasn't a shot that rendered the Thai helpless.

I think Onikeke is way too robotic and one dimensional...a view shared by Ganoy actually who thought Onikeke looked slow and cumbersome in that fight.

I don't discredit what you have seen in the gym and you could well be right in your take on him. Actually, I hope he busts Nakbalee up enough to take some gloss of him when he fights Ganoy in Nov :p

if you dont think onikeke has improved just watch the ganoy fight and then his last fight.
in the ganoy fight he did not even fight with his hands up!!!!! he didnt have a jab etc, no defence, sure his movments are still robotic, but his power is incredible!!

We will see in his next fight just how much he has improved !!
