I was wrong about the 11rds. Hatton lasted 10 rds with mayweather and was ok after 9rds but pacman tore up hatton in 1st minute of 1st round.

I respect floyd for jumping into a ring, cannot respect him for ducking so many good ones. Fighting JMM is a start, just wish it would've been years ago. Many say pacman fought a shot hatton.....what about marquez? He is not young anymore. Floyd fighting a pacman, cotto, mosley is a start.

why is many people discrediting hattons whole career over just this loss

hatton over 2001 to present isnt the most skilled boxer, but has had the most success at 140 than any other them boxers including tszyus career over that period of time, the maker of this thread should of been more clear on what they mean as the best skillfull at 140? best win at 140? best career at 140?

before the hatton-pacquiao fight, i said that KT was the best 140 pounder...now, he is 2nd only to pacquiao...pacquiao is the best 140 pounder in this decade...

After one fight? We're talking about best at 140 only and not taking into consideration wins at other weights. Whilst Pac now has an excellent win over Hatton at 140 that alone is not sufficient to name him best light welter of the decade.

Tszyu and Hatton accomplished more at the weight. And no, don't use the logic that Pac beat Hatton who beat Tszyu to 'prove' he's the best of this decade. You need longevity and more than one good win to do that.

    He is such a ******.

I used to offer reasonable explanations to his outbursts, but I'm past that, what I feel for his illinformed 'opinions' are pure hatred, and therefore for the man himself.

    What a dick.

hatton is a limited fighter with longetivity...

tszyu was not that great from 2001 onwards...he lost to hatton in a fight he was 3-1 favorite

So what? Why should fighters fight anymore when we could just award the win to whoever the bookies have as the favourite.
