Will the fight between Mayweather and Pacman happen?

Will Mayweather want to face a fighter who would be favoured to beat him? Will he want to take the short end of the purse? I don't think he will.

 

Floyd's ego is the one thing that may prevent this. Although I'm hoping JMM will be responsible.

 

It will happen. Way too much money involved for it not to.

 

Floyd better bring his A game because Pac is a wrecking machine at that weight.

 

Bob Arum.....dont have **** to do with Floyd. Arum is already talking about ****ing Cotto....he keeps his **** in house whenever possible. Margarito has a better shot..lol. Manny would kick his ass too.

 

I can see a purse split problem. Both sides think they deserve the lion's share. If they are amenable to 50/50 split, then there is a chance for this. The next issue will be the official weight. I see them fighting at 143lbs.

 

there is no other fight i want to see half as much...they should market jmm/pbf as an eliminator to get pac...true p4p in that one...weigh in 142-143. fight of the decade.

 

I voted no cause I'm doubtful, but nonetheless hopeful.

 

Floyd is too scared.. Too much of a Ducker/Cherrypicker... Too much risk... He just doesn't have enough testicular fortitude.

Yep. PBF will retire again if he don't get Pac cuz he won't fight a top WW now.

 

I hope this fight to happen but I see three things to hinder it from coming: 1. JMM beating Floyd (which is highly probable) thus earning the right to a third fight with Pac; 2. Floyd running scared from Pac after seeing how Pac easily destroyed Hatton; and 3. Pac retiring late this year to pursue his once derailed political ambition.

 

I voted no. Floyd will price himself out. PAC will not fight unless he gets more.
