Yeah, based on the news Hatton was down for about 2 minutes, so even bayless' count up to 100, He [Hatton] could'nt get up on his feet to save the fight.:rasta
doesnt mean he couldnt have recovered and got the decision. and by the way, there are 120 seconds in 2 minutes, not 100.
Normally when the boxer got KoD (as what happen to Hatton) the referee would count to 8 [only] to analyze the condition of the fighter if he could continue the fight then count another two [9, 10] for the fighter to get ready. In Hatton case Bayless' was't needed to count as he knows that Hatton will not be able to continue the fight, even if he counts til 100. [not necessary means 120 to be exact on the time when Hatton was cold down]:deal
why would hatton want 2 suffer more pain? he would just get KO'd again. I dont think he had n e thing left in him
lol at the people taking this thread serious. i demand a rematch. hatton was drugged on the way to the ring with very fast acting sleeping pills. they are said to put you to sleep in less than 6 mins. if it was not for the drugging hatton would have won
Trainer: Ricky wake up and open your eyes, are you ok? Ricky: Yes, Im cool. I was just doing a C T Scan on myself to make sure no major organs were damaged.....:yep
