Irish Boxing is going well at the moment. My irish p4p top three reads:

    1) Bernard Dunne
    2) Paul Mccloskey
    3) Mathew Macklin

But I'll also be keeping a close eye on what Andy Lee does. With a bit of improvement may do something.

Rogan is like a Rocky story. I still think his limited boxing skills but everytime I think someone has his number, he suprises me. I'm going to continue to write him off because I like being suprised. He's one of my favourite boxers to watch.

I also be keeping an eye on Pajo Hyland. Undefeated and starting to develop some power.

Irish boxing is definitely on a boom.

I am Irish so don't know how yee might feel about this but left out Duddy on purpose. I feel like he has been a protected fighter that got found out. I definitely think he would win a rematch with lyell but he is not world class. Would like to see him take some risks now he has lost and try to prove me wrong. My guess though is that any top fighter will beat him. Lee is more than ready for duddy.

Also I see cabellero is looking to move up. Supposedly really drained in his last fight. Must try and find it once I finish work. Pity. Was looking forward to Dunne v Cabellero in O2.

Munroe struggled too although not on the score cards. Still like to see Dunne fight him. I think Munroe will be tough. He's hard to get rid of but Dunne should have too much for him. He must train like he did for the cordoba match from here on out though. The fights are going to get a lot tougher. Vazquez perhaps. That would be a monster step up. Would like a few more fights before he takes that one to establish himself at world class level. Then of course he runs the risk of losing out on a big payday if he loses to some other challenger, Its a tough one. My head tells me vazquez is a bridge too far. But if you want to be the best.........

Also, Anybody know who Mccloskey is rumoured to be fighting next now Witter is out of the picture?

Good post mate, hopefully McCloskeys future will be made clear in the next week or so, but I think a European title fight is on the cards.:thumbsup

Mccloskey has looked awesome in his last 2 fights. I love watching his style too. Still hasn't been tested to the level that Dunne has been tested and therefore I would not consider him Irish P4P just yet. Has big potential to be though.
