If Torres & Judah can hurt Cotto, surely Pacman can knock him out?

If you think about it, Cotto's chin has improved. Torres and Judah were towards the somewhat beginning of his career. But if you look at the mosley fight, Cotto got hit with quite a few big ones and seemed to shake them off. Even the Margarito fight *I know someone is going to bust my ass on this one* He went 11 rounds with (most likely) plastered wraps.

If you look at the fight, he's never actually "dropped." He takes a knee

Pac. is the real deal. His reflexes have never been better, and if anything his speed is improving. Hatton's close to Cotto in handspeed and faster in footspeed and we saw what happened there. I don't think Hatton would have survived more than 4 rounds regardless of how he fought. Strength? He appeared stronger than Hatton to me. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Pac. would smoke Cotto around the 6th round.

Can Manny takes Cotto's shot? Thats the better question. Cotto already took Shane best, and Shane is a big hitter himself. It took a big Margo 11 rounds to make Cotto take a knee. He never went on his back. At 147 Cotto is too strong for Manny. There is a resaon Roach has said if Cotto or Shane want Manny they will have to drop a few pounds.

Exactly, Cotto has never technically been dropped. Even so, he took a knee to plaster. Manny himself isn't a big fan of being hit in the body, which is Cotto's signature punch. People say Cotto is too slow, but if you look in the Mosley fight, Cotto held his own in hand speed

Yes, Cotto is too powerful for Pac but he is also too slow! Pac by late stoppage.

I think, because of the variables involved, that I would not like to pick.

But the Torres-Pac arguments doesn't sit well with me.

Now i will counter yor comment by saying is Manny was badly hurt by a smaller man Oscar Larios, i'm sure Cotto can put away many.

They buzzed him and he was shakey but Torres is a known puncher at 140 while Zab unified at 147. Cotto was weaker at 140 too.

However, in the right circumstances Pac could definitely hurt Cotto. Depends on the weight.

Pac would definitely have the power to cause Cotto all sorts of problems, especially if Cotto had to drain even a pound or two below the WW limit (though i would say that is very unlikely). It is more a question of how effectively he can apply it. Mosley beat seven shades of **** out of Margarito, but couldn't do the same to Cotto.

It would be a much better fight visually than Pac - Mayweather.
