first you cant go by the 135lb floyd or the 130 lb manny to prove your points. those guys dont exist anymore. you have to go by the guys they are today and those guys fought the same guys in their last 2 fights. 1. how can you say floyds punches are more effective when mannys punches are destroying fighters that floyd could not finish as effectively. it just does not make sense. 2. look at their last two fights. who got hit more? if you saw pac getting hit more, then there is no sense in continueing this farse. of course the 135lb floyd was harder to hit but that guy has not been around for years and yes the guy who fought jmm got hit a lot. that guy was fighting one of the best of this era and that pac is also gone. you now have a floyd who is less active and gets hit more and a pac who is more skilled and gets hit less. how can you not see this? 3. there is no one that pac has faced that didnt get hit by punches they didnt see comming because of pacs speed. floyd is not meldrik taylor and if floyd doesnt duck pac, that will be evident. 4. higher work rate means that pac will be scoring a lot more than floyd because much lesser fighters have been able to score and score well against floyd. you saying that floyd will nullify anything manny does just doesnt make it so. no one has nullified what pac does in years. 5. the fact that floyd avoids tough fights should tell you that he wont be able to give manny a boxing lesson. manny will be by far the toughest fight floyd has ever had, thats if he has the guts to face him at 140. floyd may beat manny but he is going to have a much harder time than castillo gave him.
Mayweather fans are a joke. They are not true Boxing fans because they support a guy who drags the sport into the gutter. Pacquiao embodies everything thats great about Boxing. A great resume, power punching, speed, combination's,heart, knockouts, sustained action, good person. Mayweather avoids the best, trash talker, boring. No comparison in terms of who is the truly GREAT fighter out of the two.
I'm sorry son....but you have no idea what you are sayig. Yes Floyd would probably win based on his style. But in terms of being "OUTCLASSED".... That is an incredibly uneducated thing to say. PAC would definitley be Floyd's Hardest opponent to date and would make it a rough fight. But again...when floyd fights someone on his level, he fights in a way that is defensive first, low risk on his end and technical. You won't see a performance like with Gatti where he'd open up to take chances. You'll see him using his legs and pot shotting. PAC has a chance although it's hard to beat a fighter who is as talented and skilled as floyd who came to "OUT POINT" his opponent. Stylistically Floyd is a nightmare for PAC if Floyd is not there to really "FIGHT" and box his way to a points decision. Not takeing anything away from Floyd because Boxing is about self preservation.....but unlike Floyd...Manny is there to FIGHT and give the fans excitment even if he ends up on the loosing end of a decison. THat is where the difference lies between P4P great PAC and P4P great Floyd. ANd with all that said I wouldn't be surprised if PAC ended up with a win over Floyd! I just think FLoyd would not allow himself to loose and would box in a way that got him a decision in what would be his hardest fight. He won't be able to outspeed Pac b/c PAC is just as fast...he'll have to use his skills to take him the distance and footwork to avoid anything close to a real echange with the superior fighter. Unfortunately there is no man on this planet as technically sound or as skilled as Floyd Jr.
It think it won't be a walk in the park but he'll beat JMM clearly. If PAC and Floyd fight it will be a very tough fight for FLoyd...but one he should be able to edge. I see him trying to fight like he did with Oscar....a guy who was on his talent and skill level. Floyd faught intelligently but with risking very little...he'll try to do the same with PAC but he'll be forced to engage with PAC's style. He'll loose the exchanges but win on the outside which he'll fighting to stay in the center of the ringe at range.
You really wrapped up what I needed to say with this post. 5B clearly is a simplistic moron and a Pac hater. Stating he loves Pac in his opening post wont change that. His lack of understanding as to what Pac brings to the table shows this. I would also love to add how every Mayweather fan constantly likes to say he'll simply just "potshot" his opponents. As if thats some magical **** that just happens. As if potshoting is the same thing as walking down opponents and ****. The key to Judah's success was three things. Speed Stance Counter Right Hook. (NOT THE JAB) Judah's speed clearly gave Mayweather fits. Mayweather relies on his reflexes to slip punches rather than keep up a guard(which might possibly be on the decline now that he's 32). But since Judah was pretty ****in' fast his ability to time the punches was off. His stance allowed Judah to land shots in the open area of Mayweather's guard. Mayweather enjoys keeping one arm across his chest and his left on the left side of his face. Judah's stance allowed him to land his right hands. One of Mayweather's bread and butter tactics is the spear-like jab to the stomach. Judah found much success in timing this punch and countering Mayweather with a right hook. He even gave him a KD that went overlooked by the ref. His fans will say it was a slip or that he was caught off balance . That's fine. But that's a pretty big flaw that occurs alot. He even "slipped" in the Hatton fight. If you fly back like that against Manny. He'll be on you faster than flies on ****...and he doesnt punch like feather fisted Baldomir, or as reckless as defenseless Hatton. He'll come in there with a dangerous arsenal. And this illusion of Mayweather having a granite chin will be more shocking and devastatingly more surprising than Roy Jones Jr. getting KTFO. Think I'm lying? (0:35) [YT]din0rds-EfI[/YT] (1:29) [YT]unPpMgZQdME[/YT] DeLaHoya's success was NOT THE ****IN' JAB! It was the way he cut the ring off and Mayweather's deliberate submission to stay on the ropes. Once DeLaHoya stopped cutting the ring off and just chasd him, Floyd's ability to move away from Oscar's flurries became easy. DeLaHoya got excited because he was catching Mayweather on the ropes constantly and forgot how he got him there in the first place. Instead, he got excited and wanted to just go for the KO instead. Manny will not make the same mistake. He executes plans perfectly and never gets ahead of himself or gets over eager. Oscar's money punch is the left hook. I've already stated that Mayweather blocks that half of his face with his guard so the money punch WASNT landing in the exchanges. Just the weak ass straight right jab. Manny has power in BOTH hands. Not one. And just to clear up this bull**** Mayweather Marquez counter punching comparison...let's watch some tape shall we? :smoke (3:30)...DeLaHoya flurry totally unanswered...if you continue you'll see he counters with one or two potshots. :verysad [YT]Dss8VYRjxKo[/YT] (Just watch the ****in' whole thing)...several counter shots. Sometimes 4 to 5 punches at once. Never once unrespondant to a trade. VERY DIFFERENT! [YT]Nm7hYvyjxOc[/YT]
You're a dumbass if you think Floyd will ''outclass'' Pacquiao. only by a *****/boring decision .
Floyd mayweather will knock pacman out because he's to easy of a target and to wild win he swings. Marquez tkes his time and thats right up Floyd's alley. Mosely would be a good fight but I feel with nazim on his corner he hits and holds and frustrates mayweather to win a victory.
if you look at the trouble Juan Diaz gave to Marquez you would know that Floyd is going to stop him~ but Marquez will also test Floyd, and if you discredit Floyd for taking this fight **** off, this is not a gimme fight.
Mosely I see as a threat to mayweather but manny or marquez mayweather will destroy. Since manny has moved up his chin hasnt been tested. No one is able to hit him but floyd mayweather will be hitting him alot
If Floyd is really such a punisher as you claim he is, why doesn't he punish the guys in his own division? Is he the punisher for the lower division guys only? He retired with so many fighters in his own division willing to fight him and suddenly unretired when a guy from the lower division called him out. :-(
