Nah.... Huck's style doesn't suit him for Adamek. Hes gonna try to go out there and brawl with Adamek, and thats something you shouldn't do vs Adamek... Huck would get KO'd inside 6.
Just like Steve did:thumbsup Huck would get brutalized and taken out withing about 6 rounds. He hasnt fought a fighter that has made him pay for his constant mistakes yet.
For beating a old Turkish guy and losing to a green Cunningham? Yea... Thats like saying Valuev is better than the Klitschkos.
Huck gets better, but Adamek would be a tall order. However, since both will eat hard punches, it will probably be up to who has the better chin in that fight.
It's going to take 4 planets in proper alignment and a favorable trip to the Oracle of Delphi before Jones gets back in the ring. He's very deliberate about that kind of thing these days, and who knows where he's going to find the dodo egg to offer as tribute.
Adamek outboxes Huck. If this fight is going to happen, maybe some posters would notice that Adamek isn't only a brawler, but also a damn good boxer.
Just a long winded way of saying that Jones isn't active enough. :thumbsup It's been 9 months since he beat Arslan, and it was like 4 years since he fought another good fighter (Braithwaite) besides that. In fact, before 2005, it'd been 2002 since he'd fought anyone decent. It looks like he works in 3 year cycles, so it may be until 2011 that we hear anything from him again. :!: For someone who doesn't have a ton of time left in the sport, Guillermo doesn't look like he's in any rush to defend his title at all, let alone enough for it to be considered cash in on it- which is kind of surprising for a guy who's both pretty good and has no successful title defenses in his career. As an interesting note, I think it's safe to say he's the only guy in boxing history whose two titles came in Junior Middleweight and Cruiserweight.
I think Huck has improved since Cunningham. He seems a lot stronger. His stamina seems better. But, I still think Adamek wins.
