Jimmy magee is hilarious, half the time he hasn't got a clue and gets really over excited. I love listening to him commentate, its ****in hilarious. Of course its biased, unashamedly biased, but **** it, its funny!!

I will say that Dave 'boy' McCauley does get on my nerves when he keeps sayin 'craking shot' in that thick Northern accent.

And Jim Rock is a hero...(I know thats off point, but it needs to be said.:good)

Agreed, frAudley Harrisson, Amir Khan, Witter were all built up to be possible greats only to be exposed on at least one occasion each.

haha 'cracking shot' also extremely annoying when he relentlessly urges fighters not to get 'involved' or that a fighter is still 'dangerous'

if you want a good laugh, watch the andy lee Vs willie gibbs fight again and listen to Jimmy magees commentary. Some of it is just too funny, at the time, watching it live I was too into the fight to pay much attention but after re-watching it, its just pure magic.
At one stage he refers to andy lee 'being on a cruise, a cruise around willie gibbs', and in the first round he reminds the audience that Andy Lee is the white man and Willie Gibbs is the darker shade'...TV Gold!!

Gotta say fair play to Dunne if they are going for this fight. Stepping up once again, taking a fight where he will be a MASSIVE underdog, instead of gettin an easy defense in.

I was really worried about his for the Cordoba fight and didn't fancy him to pull it off. But after that I wont doubt him again.

The fight with Munroe isnt going to happen. They messed up by avoiding Dunne and should shut up about it now. If he wants to get to world level, he's going to have to show some balls like Dunne did and take some good fights.

I would be very worried for Dunne against Juanma. He is nowhere near ready for this fight.

    Dunne should fight Munroe next.

Munroe has a better defence than Dunne and can take big punches. He is also excellent at absorbing pressure and coming on strong late on. He's big too and likes to push fighters onto the ropes and then getting in decent body shots to slow his opponent down. he most likely use this tatic against Dunne. He impressed me in the second Martinez fight too. I know Marftinez isn't the most tatically gifted at setting up punches but he did throw a big volume and got nowhere near Munroe.

Dunne has more punch power than Munroe and with his technical skills will be able to set it up much better than Martinez who just jumps in swinging. Dunne has better speed too and has mixed with better company than Munroe and has better ametuer experience than Munroe. For these reasons I would have him beating Munroe on a UD but with possibly a few worrying moments thrown in.

For the guy who keeps talking about America volume of champions versus Ireland's volume, you really have to stop talking. I've had to listen to some dumbasses talk but you take the biscuit.

A lot of people talking crap on this thread too about dunne and Dunnes fans.

Do we think he can take Vazquez/Juanma? I wouldn't give him much chance. If the fight does get made I think he will get KO juanma and it may indeed be quick. Now penelosa is a great bantamweight fighter with a better chin than dunne but he did invite juanma on to him. I can gaurentee Dunne won't fight him that way, He will most likley be caught with a big one that will end it though.

I give Dunne a chance against Cabellero. Molitor was terrible that night. He kept jumping into his punches. Cabellero may will win but Dunne could cause him problems as cabellero's only defence is his height so could be caught if Dunne is cute enough. That's just how cordoba beat cabellero so why not Dunne.

Cordoba was three rounds up on my card that night and that was mainly for ring control. Punch for punch it was even. Cordoba was by no means battering him about like someone said. Dunne picked some very good shots against him which was the reason for Cordoba tiring out. Jesus. Watch the ****ing fight and you'll see that.

The only reason you think we overrate Dunne is because we think he can take Munroe. Thats the only fighter we are generally talking about when it comes to Dunne. And I've seen a lot of both fighters. And Munroe has a tidy defence but has never been tested by a technically gifted fighter like Dunne. He has a points loss to Andy Morris at featherweight. Cordoba is a whole lot more technical than Munroe. I don't think he will be able to cut the ring off with dunne. I think dunne will box his way out of that situation.

So to sum this all up,

Dunne v Juanma (KO rd 5)
Dunne v Vazquez (KO rd 9)
Dunne v Cabellero (unsure. Probably Cabellero but I give Dunne a chance)
Dunne v Munroe (Dunne on points)
Dunne v Poonswat (I've been watching this guy of late. I think I fancy Dunne has what it takes to beat him.

Whoever he fights, I'll root for him like hell. If it is Juanma, then come on upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
