Boys I heard a whisper that Mundine/Green is on for January 2010 with both camps agreeing on that date, which means that Green's got one, possible two more warm up bouts between now and then. I don't think he'll fight any contenders in the division, he's made it clear from day one that he's out of retirement to fight Mundine. He never said he wanted a LHW championship belt, it's a money fight against Mundine that he wants. We can all **** and moan as much as we want on here but you all know that you'd have your arses glued to a bar stool if Mundine-Green II was on PPV.

 

Perth's pretty warm in January - but if it's gonna be at Subiaco oval they don't want it raining either.

Green already had a LHW belt but didn't want it!

It's definately the only reason Green came back, and it's all been hand-shaked on regardless of how much weight Mundine loses and how many denials his camp might care to offer.

....Sadly people will flock to see it. I'll be interested in the result but won't be contributing to the purses!

the mundine $$$$$$$$$.he retired before Garay some say he knew he couldnt beat him but danny and his fans say he had a dream and a john edwards moment and retires because of that and they say 'oh leave danny alone he has a family etc' and now his concern about his family has disappeared and he is calling out mundine as he is making a mark at MW 2 divisions below the one danny wants to fight him at.would this have anything to do with the fact that the economy has gone to **** and maybe his investments have performed badly?no of course not this is Danny the down to earth good guy Green we are talking about here.
he promoted his last fight as unfinished business and used mundine my guess is he will promote his next fight as the road to redemption and again will feature mundine .

You are exactly right. They both think if you hate or criticize them as boxers you are jealous because of their wealth etc.I would rather have ODLH or Mayweathers bank accounts than both of these 2.But lets all hail Danny Green like Shiner and LJD.Lets flood the general forum with return of the champ threads.Fancy those Yanks ignoring our Danny when he returned against the tough Anthony Van Neikirk when Floyd takes on the far easier JMM.atsch

 

Apparently Floyd is coming back because he owes the IRS millions. Word is, that his finances aren't too healthy.

 

No ****? I often wonder how Tyson,Floyd and others squander so much money.Do you think its all through dodgey managers or reckless spending or maybe both?

 

Probably both mate to be honest.

 

In Floyds case I think it would be reckless spending and simply not paying tax.
