Mayweather, Jr.-The fight game is worse off without him insofar as he is a mainstream name in the U.S. Furthermore, his defensive skill is so impressive, and his absence revealed to me how much I enjoy the occasional display of such talent.
Hopkins. He was an ass before and after the Calzaghe fight, but the guy is so knowledgable and smart, and funny. It's hard to completely dislike the guy. James Toney. Oh, wait, I still hate Toney. Never mind.
Know what you mean about Hopkins , I've always kind enjoyed hearing him talk and watching him fight but he can always be counted on to say something to cause offence at some point. Ole Grumpy *******
Didn't like him at first. Cheered against him when he fought Mormeck. I warmed up to him and realized he was a breath of fresh air to the HW division.
Hopkins and Mayweather. Dunno why exactly, but Hopkins changed my mind after he easily defeated Pavlik, and Mayweather only changes my mind because he's come back and is willing to fight Marquez and Pacquia, when before he seemed to be ducking the best men out there possible.
I used to hate Hatton just b/c i always felt he was overrated but after he gave Floyd a tough fight and outboxed Paulie I gained a new respect for him. Not to mention hes all class whether its after a win or loss.
